Well, I wasn't telling anyone about my surgery, so No one worried.
I had a contingency plan if it went bad, so glad it didn't.
Now, that I havent been effected adversely... much I feel fine to post this on the forums.
So the doctors decided to remove a few bits of the old gray matter in my head, and bits of whatever else [IM not medic cmon!] to see if they could rectify teh situation wit me staying up weeks at a time.
Since medications didn't work, unless I used enormous amounts, or meds that affected me real adversely; they decided to remove bits and pieces of the brain.
Now For some reason my system put out tons of adrenaline, and very little [whatever sleeping chemicals are called]
NOw, my symtoms were, hyper metabolism, high body heat [alwas near 99 degrees. ALWAYS] and no sleep.
Now, after the operation, I have a 98.2 temperature, a slightly lower metabolic rate, but most importantly, I sleep longer
PRoblems?
a few
I act a bit different, and have these wierd dreams when I sleep... like. REALLY wierd dreams.
Sleep studies conclude I have overactive braincells, but nothing that could really mess with me.
Now the doctors hope is that My system will cool down after a while, and regulate itself a bit better, however there is also a chance that my body decided to jack itself back into hyper activity again,.
So, 5-7 days without sleep-> 3-4 days.
11-16 hours of sleep-> 8 hours.
So,,, I sleep 8 hours every four days or so... compared to 11 or 16 every 5 to 7 days.
Good stuff.
Now, What could go wrong?
I can go hyperactive at any moment, [still have an over abundance of energy, !!] and that could be bad.
OR I could [while sleeping] drop into a coma.
Mmmm.
Or just go brain dead.
However, my studies all show I steady and the brain isnt over doing tiself with sleep or anything, besides really vivid dreams.
Um, so If I act funny, no worries.

Only Downside [for me] is the short times between sleeps [IM used to the week!] but i also wake up earlier... so...
Either way =]
Still tons of energy, Ill get used to it.
I probably wont even realize it in a few months.

Well its another day, and this dream was weird.
It was shiny spots of light swirling in differnet patterns.... like foam in an ocean.. but not...... more like fire?
I ahve no idea, but the dreams are peaveful at any rate.
THe hours of sleep, I feel energetic when I wake up...
Its only been 2 weeks or so since the Op, so... We will see.
Thank you all for your encouragement. =]
Love you all
