I have change my avatar and signature because everybody was curious and sum thought was wrong that i have a Acura Rsx as my avatar and signature but my name is Supra. Well guys, The Rsx is just a Inspiration of my next project car next summer But i have change everything to the real subject of my Identity, Supra!
Happy Numb , Ricky, Wun, Salad ? I have Supra all written all over me now right?

Supra #1!! U talk smack, FIND US A Server SOn! .s3G pOwaa!! Lol.

Pfft. The rotary motor is good but waay more complicated to tune and build. If it was more common then yeah sure why not. Ask any automotive tech and more than likely he will have no clue as to work on one besides the basic stuff.

The 2jz is more of a common style of an engine and i believe it is alot more reliable than the rotary style engines(Damn those apex seals!!). It has been proven many times that the stock bottom end of the 2jz(block, pistons, connecting rods, crank) can handle large amount of boost.

If they don't know wtf a rotary engine is and how it works then I wouldn't call them mechanics. And a rotary engine weighs wayyyy less than the inline 6 in the supra. The RX-7 has almost exactly 50%-50% front to rear weight ratio. You can't ask more for that. Oh and can order the 20B engine from Japan that sports 3 rotors, instead of the stock 2. I've seen some of those tuned engines make up to 1k HP.

My buddy was working on a 4 rotor back in the day machining all his own parts, he could not get the engine to stay put. it would break motor mounts due to the 20 something thousand rpm.

rotary motors suck... which is why so many rx-7's went to crap quickly... anyways... its all about the 370z.. =]
